N.H.S. Eye Examinations

Free Examinations are available via the N.H.S. for those people in the following
categories;

• Aged 60 or more.
• Children under 16.
• Full time students aged under 19
• You or your partner receives ; Income Support, Family Credit
• Income-based Jobseekers Allowance or Disability Working Allowance.
• Those with a HC2 certificate.
• The registered blind.
• Those who suffer from Diabetes/ Glaucoma
• Those prescribed complex lenses under N.H.S. optical voucher scheme.

Private Eye Examinations

Private eye examinations are available at a cost of £ 19.50. This includes full medical check of your ocular health, and where necessary, tests for full peripheral vision, intraocular pressures, and any abnormalities.
